Math software has now become popular amongst school and universities. Most classes have become dependent on this software because of its way of teaching, it interests and challenges students. There are always new types of software of this kind that come out and each one has a different way of teaching that it arouses the inner interest of persons when it comes to solving calculations. But is this a good way to teach?

Technology is growing at an alarming rate, there so many things being invented by man to make mans life a bit easier. But is this dependency going to have a good outcome for us? Computers are one of the most convenient inventions that it is now part of our daily life. It is so easy to access that we always turn to the computer when we wan to know something. This include different subject.

Math was once taught in classroom but now you can learn through the World Wide Web. When confused by a certain calculation you can just type it and you will find examples. Some try to learn by having fun so they either buy or download math programs and now that there are computers almost in every household parents are starting to teach Math to their children even outside of school.

It may be good to start children to learn at an early age but there are also negative sides to being exposed to computers because we know that computers can cause poor eyesight and have many bad sites. That is why it is much better for kids to learn math using computers if they are in school.

There are so many ways this kind of software challenges students. For the kids version you go on different adventures like space, in a jungle or even go to some mystical place and you pass each level by solving different calculations, as the level gets higher the calculations get tougher so the student is constantly challenge and having fun. One of the popular math games among kids is a counting game, Dora the Explorer is one example of this and many other cartoon characters can also be found.

For those a bit older like high school they learn more complicated calculations through everyday obstacles or they apply it to everyday happenings. So the software uses everyday events like how fast the car is going and by giving different numbers we solve what time the car arrives, so this is one example.

It challenges the students using math as the medium and we know our own human flaw that inside we love to be challenged. For College student though it is more of the thirst of knowledge because they learn not just one formula through math softwares but several more, some will take time to learn but by using technology they learn a little bit faster.

Our thirst first for knowledge cannot be easily quenched and our drive to be challenged cannot easily be answered. Math is one of the most complicated and at times simplest subjects. It is called the perfect science because the answer will never change. If zero the answer to a question than there is no other answer aside from zero. That is why Math is one of the most basic subjects because it has an absolute answer. But is it better to learn it through a machine or through a person? That can only be answered by you.
