When you get invited for a wedding, ensure that you know what to wear. There will be time when you might assume that all weddings need to be formal.
Well, not necessarily. Be sure to find out whether it's going to be a church wedding, a beach wedding or a garden wedding. All these distinct types of weddings require different types of attire.
When you get invited for a church wedding, you can assume that it is going to be a conventional wedding. That means you need to wear something formal. It would also be appropriate to ask for the wedding motif color.
That way, you can still add something that will not be too boisterous or too dull for the event. Of course, expect a lot of photographers at the wedding.
It would be so much better if you would look good when it's your turn to have your pictures taken with the newly weds. Also, you would not feel like an outcast when you get called up on stage to read a speech for the newly weds. We would like to think that everyone at the wedding will be diplomatic about the dress code.
However, it will still be a shame to look like a rag on stage if you need to come up there. It pays a lot to dress up appropriately for any event so you don't end up being the odd one out. It will also add a lot of confidence to your personality.

Most likely, you will find the people badly dressed at the back part of the event. They don't want to be seen as much as possible. Men should always have some formal clothes ready for any formal occasion that might just come up. At least you would not have to cram when you get invited for a formal wedding.
You should also have at least a couple of pairs of cufflinks in your fashion accessories. You do not have to use it that often if you do not want to so just keep it safely. You should also have at least 5 different bow ties and 5 different neckties in your closet for formal events.
That way, you would not have to wear the same thing over and over again for different events. Remember, there will be photographers who will be taking your pictures.
You would not want to get caught wearing the same outfit in 5 diverse weddings. Weddings do not happen that often so make sure you prepare well for it.
It is also important that you know exactly what kind of clothes will look good on you. No matter how expensive your clothes are, it won't show at all if it does not suit you at all.
Then again, thrift clothes matched properly with the right accessories will surely make you look good. In fact, you might be a trending topic already among the crown without you knowing it.
It can be either because of you bad taste in clothes or for your good choice of clothing combination. Combining different types of clothes to make an entire new look is an art that we should all learn.
