Event planning is surely not an easy task; it needs to be plan well to be able to make it successful. If you find yourself planning for an event, then do not ever make these 10 worst event planning.

The very common mistake that event planning usually encounters is getting the most dignified speaker in town, without even considering the audience. Even if you invited the most famous personality in the event, it will all be useless he or she is not appropriate to the event or the audience. It is important that you perform your research first to avoid any disappointment in the end.

Another common mistake that the event planning usually have is poor communication. For instance, one worst thing that usually happens in an event is not letting the attendees know who the guest speaker is. This can create an image for the event planner that does not communicate very well with the people. As much as possible, give enough information about the upcoming event.

It is important that you put all the right persons in their proper places where they can be productive. For instance let cheerful persons in front to greet the guests. Avoid assigning some frownies as ushers; they will be more productive at the back wrapping gifts, making calls to important people or in-charge of the clean up. Let the persons who enjoy being with other people entertain and accommodate the guests in front.

As the host of the event planning, you must make your way to speak to the guests. Always remember that they have attended the event in spite of their busy schedule, take the time to ask if they are comfortable. Do not talk to the important people, leaders or with some that you already know. You need to take time to get to know the persons that do not know and ask how they find the event.

As the host, it is also your role to serve the guests. Forget who you are and serve the guests, ask them if they need something or if they need anymore of something.

As an event planner, it is important that you look on all the essential details of the event. The price of the food, the materials that you will need for the event, the cost of the parking, or the handouts that you will need to inform the people of the upcoming event.

If you already prepare all the objectives, goals and vision of the event, then you can now begin promoting the up coming event to the right people. It is important that you get creative with your invitation to make it stand out and be effective.
